Judith is a qualified architect, and before joining Morris+Company, worked as an architect both in London and New York, on site as a contractor, as well as undertaking project management. This experience ensured she developed a well-rounded view which has enabled her to develop a stronger and empathetic understanding of the different pressures within the industry. Judith returned to work in the UK after taking time out to raise her twins, moving from projects to practice and into a practice management role prior to joining Morris+Company. Having received a Distinction for her Part 3, she has always been interested in the management side of practice and this enabled her to return to where her main interests lie.

Judith has a keen interest in broadening diversity within the profession and the practice, and actively pursues opportunities to enable this across all stages of career from outreach in schools to career progression within the practice, continually striving to create and maintain an inclusive workplace. She has connected Morris + Company to other organisations such as Beyond the Box/POoR Collective and she is currently part of a working group with the Mayor’s Fund for London on the launch of a new campaign to create a stronger and more inclusive built environment industry where young Londoners from all backgrounds feel they belong and can flourish. Her next mission is to work with Women Returners on ways to help people return to the profession after extended periods of time away.

Judith studied at Westminster and Kingston for her Part 1 and 2 before going on to qualify at the Bartlett for Part 3 with distinction.
