Claire joined Morris+Company in November 2019. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town before graduating from Delft University of Technology in 2019. Her graduation thesis interrogated high density housing in Mumbai’s urban periphery. Driven by a deep reverence for the social value of architecture, Claire is interested in the intersection between city-making and place-making; from the urban to the intimate scale. She received a special mention in the UN-Habitat International Design Collaboration for Kenya, Claire’s work on the symbiotic relationship between formal and informal trade and transport economies was presented at the UN Headquarters in Nairobi and exhibited at the UN Habitat III conference in Quito, Ecuador.
c.barry@morrisand.companyRowena studied at the Manchester School of Architecture and Kingston School of Art, before qualifying as an architect in 2017. She joined Morris + Company in 2018. Rowena has developed a craft-based, material-focused approach to design, applying this from early-stage modelmaking through to detailed design. She has worked on a range of new-build and refurbishment projects in the housing and education sectors.

Adrian is skilled at conceptual design development across various media including drawing, visualisation and physical modelling. He has particular experience in residential and commercial projects.

Joshua graduated with a first class degree from the University of Bath in 2013, and gained his diploma at The Cass before joining Morris + Company in 2018. He has particular experience in the housing sector, from small Passivhaus projects through to larger-scale housing. He is also adept in physical and computer modelling as part of the design refinement process.
j.bellman@morrisand.companyAifric joined Morris+Company in September 2019. She graduated with a first class honours from the Dublin School of Architecture (DIT) in 2018. Her thesis was shortlisted for the Mont Kavanagh Scholarship and the Sir Richard Morrison Scholarship. Her thesis examined the functional and symbolic forms of ground and roof in order to mediate our perception of place. She is interested in creating a dialogue between these two elements to enhance our understanding of our environment and the structures within it. Aifric has previously worked in practices in Dublin including ODOS Architects, Steve Larkin Architects, and Spaced Out Architects in London.

She has experience delivering projects from construction stages predominantly in the housing sector. She also worked on a range of commercial, education and residential projects in the Netherlands and Spain. Marta studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Valencia ETSAV and the RWTH Aachen University in Germany, graduating with distinction in Valencia in 2014.

Samantha graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2010 with a degree in graphic design, and joined Morris+Company in January 2014. She leads the sourcing and preparation of bids and all other new business opportunities, including preparation of awards as well as collaboratively co-ordinating social media and other communications – press, website – in the office.
s.christie@morrisand.companyBelén joined Morris+Company in 2019. She completed her Masters degree with honours at San Pablo CEU University in Madrid in 2016. Her final thesis project was awarded the First Prize in PFC COAM 2016. The project brings a sensitive response to human crafts and natural environment as a result of her collaborative research with Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. She is an experienced Architect in residential and hotel projects, working on schemes of different scales, from high density residential towers and urban masterplans to one-family dwellings.

He graduated with distinction from the University of East London in 2014 and the University of Cambridge in 2018. Matt specialises in new residential typologies, and in particular co-housing and emergency accommodation. He has delivered a number of commercial projects at varying scales and is an experienced researcher and modelmaker.

She gained a first class degree from the Manchester School of Architecture and was a founding graduate of the London School of Architecture. She has been involved in several housing and commercial projects and has a particular interest in community wellbeing. With an interest in learning through doing, Emily has been involved with several participatory live design/build projects.

He qualified as an architect in 2020 from the University of Westminster. He has since taken creative roles in the design and concept development of projects across a wide range of typologies and scales, and within the studio helps to deliver an education programme to work experience students. Luke has also been a visiting tutor and critic at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Navarra (ETSAUN).

Francis has an interest in developing the social and collaborative potentials of architecture, and enjoys developing ideas and relationships from a close understanding of context. He has developed projects with an ambition that they should speak to the places from where they arise, designing and learning from London, Copenhagen, Tbilisi, Galicia, Havana and Seoul. Francis has lectured on the role of collaboration in architecture at KADK and is a visiting critic at the University of Brighton.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Sheffield before graduating with a distinction from Oxford Brookes University in 2019. Her area of research examines the domestic appropriation of leftover spaces in the form of micro-dwellings. Previously Dora worked for DO:GMa in Limassol, Cyprus, where she was involved on a range of residential refurbishments, small-scale housing schemes and interior design.

She joined Morris + Company in 2018. Her thesis focused on the importance of critical thinking in the conception of architecture, and she continues to research the spatial implications of the Baroque through making. She has worked on a range of projects, including residential, exhibition and housing schemes.

Luke has a keen interest in the history and theory of architecture, and the role of buildings in telling stories. By approaching each stage of a project in this way - from conception through to construction - he looks to understand the narratives that underpin design decisions. Having worked across a broad range of project types; from temporary pavilions to airports, he seeks creative responses to a brief at all scales. Luke has experience as project lead on several private residential projects, as well as roles within large team structures on complex masterplanning proposals; favouring a collaborative method to draw upon the collective expertise of all parties. Luke is also a visiting critic at the Bartlett and Oxford Brookes.

Afra has a strong interest in making and innovating through research, be that through detailed material studies, or gaining an understanding the wider social, environmental and economic contexts of the practice’s work.
