Harriet Saddington

Associate Director
MA (Hons) Arch Hist MArch DipArch ARB RIBA

Harriet joined Morris+Company in 2015 and has worked across the homes and community sectors, focusing on mixed-use developments with local communities. With a background degree in Architectural History (Edinburgh University, first class honours), she is a visiting lecture and critic at several UK universities and has written on a freelance basis for the Financial Times and several other publications. She graduated with distinction from The Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL in 2014.

Harriet specializes in how we communicate and engage across all of our projects – this includes meaningful local community consultations, wider public engagement and also specialist stakeholder conversations – ensuring that our people-focused process is consistent and responsive, open and inclusive, for the benefit of the brief and the project, from conception to beyond completion.

Harriet also focuses on the social value commitments that we make through our work, leading a forum for discussion around the social impact that each project and process brings, and ensuring that key connections with local networks are made throughout the design and construction process.

Harriet also helps the office engage in conversations within and beyond the industry, feeding ideas back into our M+C Research group to ensure we think critically about topical issues and engage in wider debate.

The Design Team Harriet Saddington and Miranda MacLaren from Morris+Company were joined by Dinah Bornat (ZCD Architects) and Levitt Bernstein to represent the design team on the Aberfeldy Masterplan.
