Homes

As curators and innovators, Morris+Company people consider the broader political, social, cultural and environmental context of our work, challenging established modes of thinking and doing. Research is therefore integral to the work of the studio, whether this is project-specific or concerned with wider issues and themes.

Our housing research group meets monthly to discuss lessons learnt and share references and ideas, to go on site visits or record our thinking. We are particularly interested in investigating the relationship between cost and value: how can we do more for less to create the greatest value for our clients, particularly on social housing schemes where budgets are tight but ambitions high?
