Christian joined Morris+Company in 2009 (then DMA). He left in 2012 and moved to his native Denmark, before rejoining in 2021 as Director of the Morris+Company Copenhagen branch. He has in-depth experience at all stages of the architectural process, from concept design to site management.

Christian's leadership is deeply founded in "existential empathic leadership", founded in mindfulness. Working holistically with everyone involved, transparently, ambitiously, respectfully; he thrives though high ambitions with a strong sustainable agenda.

He holds degrees and qualifications across 3 educations in the architectural and built environment; First as Architect MAA / ARB, recognized and qualified both in Denmark and the United Kingdom; Secondly as Constructing Architect BTH (technologist/manager); and finally, as a qualified joiner/carpenter.

During his 30+ year career in the industry he has worked with some of finest international award-winning design offices, as well as tutored and attended crits in some of the finest Architectural schools in Denmark and the united Kingdom.

Educated and trained in Denmark he moved to London in the early 00's where he worked with a number of award-winning design practices such as Duggan Morris Architects (now Morris+Company), Grimshaw Architects, AHMM, and worked with one of the most internationally acclaimed designers and artists Thomas Heatherwick (Heatherwick Studio).

He has further experience working for some of the leading design practices in Denmark, such as 3XN Architects, SHL Architects, BIG Architects, EFFEKT, NORD Architects and most recently Director of Design and Operations at Lendager Group, one of Denmark’s leading sustainability Architectural firms.

Christian's experiences spans across a large field of typologies; Housing, Community, Cultural, Industry, Medical, Commercial, Education and he has worked on projects as diverse as living bridges, landmark sculptures, Olympic design competitions and commercial headquarters across the globe, from Hong Kong, Tokyo, KL, London and Copenhagen.

Sustainability Christian is driving the sustainability agenda in the Copenhagen office.
Christian Dahl returns to Morris+Company as a Director in Copenhagen Christian will be working with Ed and Joe to raise the profile of MoCo DK in Denmark and beyond whilst also helping to establish and consolidate processes between London and Copenhagen as the studio grows.
